Sophie has fast established herself as a versatile performer, appearing in television, film and musical theatre in Australia and internationally. A skilled actor and singer, Sophie graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) and Melbourne's Deakin University with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance/Drama).
Sophie played the role of university student Mel Bennett on the Channel 7 drama headLand which led to a starring role as personal assistant Tina Carmody in the comedy series Stupid Stupid Man. This was followed by the lead role of Gabby West in the Southern Star production and BBC television commissioned soap opera Out Of The Blue. She has also had memorable guest appearances on Packed To The Rafters and Home & Away. In 2007 Sophie played the role of "Ellen" in Cameron Macintosh's Australian production of Miss Saigon and was the sixth member of the popular children's music entertainment group Hi-5, where she was understudy presenter and the voice actress for the puppet Chatterbox. Sophie has appeared in many Australian and US television commercials, including the well known role as "Amy", the pushy girlfriend in advertisements for Australian insurer AAMI.
Most recently Sophie worked on Channel 9's drama series COPS L.A.C, playing the role of Constable Therese Drake. Sophie is currently presenting on five FOXTEL commercials.
